The Windham Mills project included the redevelopment of the city's downtown historic mill into a mix of office, retail, and light industrial- use spaces. Design challenges included flood plains, limited space for parking and loading functions, and handicap accessibility. The resulting site design includes historic streetscape renovations including fencing, lighting and street trees as well as outdoor waterfall viewing areas and connecting walkways.
